About the Role
The purpose of this role is to help provide a solid evidence base to support for the development of new public transport service plans. Achieving this requires the transformation, analysis, and presentation of performance, reliability and patronage data for the public transport network, as well as demographic and other relevant spatial analysis. This will likely include the development of data transformation flows, dashboards, and geospatial project templates and tools.
The successful applicant will work effectively as a member of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements and undertake a wide variety of work across the division. The position will be supported by senior colleagues and the team leader to develop their skills and knowledge in the role.

Key Selection Criteria
The DTP is seeking a collaborative and adaptable professional with strong foundational skills in critical thinking, data literacy and clear communication, able to interpret information, derive insights and present content for diverse audiences. The role requires resilience, a willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively in a team environment while contributing ideas and supporting shared goals. A foundational understanding of integrated transport planning and how Victorian transport networks operate to deliver strong customer and network efficiency outcomes is required.
