The Department of Education is looking for skilled and passionate Psychologist to contribute to the important work of our Student Support Services (SSS) teams in supporting schools to address the barriers that impact on student(s) access, preparation, and progress to achieving their educational goals and development potential.

As part of an area-based Health Wellbeing and Inclusion Workforce (HWIW) you will work collaboratively to help build the capability of schools to support student achievement, engagement, and wellbeing and support schools to address the barriers that impact on student(s) access, preparation, and progress towards their educational goals and developmental potential. SSS achieve this through the provision of a range of assessments, strategies, and specialised support at individual, group, and school levels.
About the role
This is a fixed term psychologist position to 09/04/2027, 0.8 time fraction within the Student Support Services Inner East Team in the Whitehorse Network based at the Glen Waverley Regional Office.
As an AH 3 Psychologist you will also be required to *manage a varied caseload *Undertake the health and wellbeing key contact function *respond to incidents within schools *contribute to capability building within schools
