About the Role
The Department of Education is looking for a highly skilled psychologist to contribute to the important work of our Student Support Services (SSS) team in Central Highlands Area in supporting schools to address the barriers to learning that impact on student(s) progress to achieving their educational goals and development potential.
The Student Support Services Branch operates from the Ballarat office and includes schools from Trentham to Ararat and Waubra to Willaura, Linton, Bannockburn to Bacchus Marsh. The Student Support Services Practitioners function as a multi-disciplinary health, wellbeing, and inclusion team which comprises psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and social workers.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
A graduate or post-graduate qualification in psychology; full Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA Candidates must possess a current Australian Drivers' Licence and Working with Children Check.
