About the Role
The Department of Education is looking for skilled and passionate Psychologists to contribute to the important work of our Student Support Services (SSS) teams in supporting schools to address the barriers that impact on student(s) access, preparation, and progress to achieving their educational goals and development potential.

The position is full time and ongoing with our SSS Wyndham team based in Point Cook at Carranballac College.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Required: A graduate or post-graduate qualification in psychology; full Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA)
Candidates must possess a current Australian Drivers' Licence and Working with Children Check.
About the Division
Student Support Services aims to assist children and young people facing a range of barriers to learning to achieve their educational and developmental potential through the provision of a range of strategies and specialised support at individual, group, and school levels.
The Student Support Services Practitioners function as a multi-disciplinary health, wellbeing, and inclusion team which comprises psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and social workers.

The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
