Latrobe Regional Health is looking for First Year Psychiatry Registrars to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) fixed term basis for 2027.
The Psychiatry Registrar provides high-quality psychiatric assessment and treatment to consumers referred to the LRH Mental Health Service, under supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist. This accredited training position delivers structured clinical rotations aligned with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) training requirements and supports the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred mental health services. Working within a multidisciplinary model of care, the registrar contributes to inpatient and community-based services, participates in after-hours on-call duties, and ensures that clinical practice aligns with LRH clinical governance, legislative obligations and contemporary mental health care standards.
