About the role
South West Healthcare's (SWH) Ngootyoong Prevention and Recovery Centre (Ngootyoong PARC) is seeking a permanent part-time Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse (Level 3) with medication endorsement. In this role, you will apply your clinical knowledge and expertise to assess and deliver evidence-based treatments and interventions to consumers with complex mental health needs, as well as support their families and carers. This position requires you to work on a rotating 7-day roster, including day, evening, and weekend shifts with the support of a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (Clinical Specialist Lead)
Ngootyoong PARC offers recovery oriented treatment for people with, or at risk of developing, serious mental illness in a home-like setting. PARC is a supported recovery orientated mental health residential facility which provides an option for people who are becoming unwell or who are in the early stages of their recovery and would benefit from short term (up to 28 days) or medium- term (less than 6 month) intensive treatment to strengthen their biological, psychological and social well-being. Day program places are also offered.
