The High-rise Redevelopment Program will progressively retire and redevelop all the 44 Melbourne public housing towers to deliver thousands more modern and accessible social, affordable and market homes.
With a construction pipeline up until 2051, a total of five estates in inner Melbourne are under active redevelopment and at various stages of project feasibility, planning, procurement and delivery. Once complete, the Program will provide homes for 30,000 people, improve the urban amenity of inner-city precincts, foster thriving and inclusive communities and capitalise on the housing potential of the well-located sites.
We are committed to developing and supporting a workforce that is well-equipped and highly motivated. All jobs can be worked flexibly, and we encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
