The Project Support Officer – Aviation Risk, Safety and Quality Assurance support the delivery of aviation safety policies, procedures and performance reporting within the Aviation Services Unit, Bushfire and Forest Services. The role contributes to the delivery of Aviation Safety Programs and supports aviation safety communication and education across Victoria’s fire, emergency and land management aviation sector.
Key responsibilities include providing administrative and reporting support, monitoring the effectiveness of aviation safety systems, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The position works closely with emergency service partners and internal stakeholders to support the consistent and integrated delivery of aviation safety policy, procedures and reporting. It also contributes to safety management and quality assurance activities for contracted aviation service providers, supports the identification of emerging safety risks and trends, and promotes compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is Melbourne CBD with hybrid work arrangements available.
