The Opportunity
The Project Support Officer supports the delivery of VicGrid's transmission planning and infrastructure programs by providing core project coordination and project management support. This will include supporting strategic transmission planning, and contributing to the effective planning, coordination and delivery of the Victorian Transmission Plan. What you will deliver
• Provide day-to-day project management support for strategic transmission planning and delivery of the Victorian Transmission Plan.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, briefing packs and governance materials.
• Maintain project risk registers, action logs and issue trackers, ensuring timely updates and escalation where required.
• Coordinate and contribute to meetings, workshops and stakeholder forums, including scheduling and follow-up actions.
• Track progress against milestones, deliverables and timelines and escalate emerging issues.
• Translate technical information into high-quality presentations, reports and materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to support information flow and ensure alignment across workstreams.
What you will bring
• The ideal candidate will be a recent Graduate in Electrical Engineering with some experience providing project support on a major project, either client side or for a contractor.
• Demonstrated experience in a project management or coordination role within a complex environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines.
• Experience supporting project governance processes, including maintaining risk registers and preparing reporting packs.
• Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise documentation and coordinate stakeholders.
