The Role
We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Project Support Officer to support the delivery of key projects and initiatives within the TAFE Strategy, Systems and Tertiary Governance Branch. Reporting to the Senior Project Officer, Delivery, you will coordinate project activities, provide administrative support, seek advice where needed, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved. You will contribute to an inclusive and cohesive team environment and help drive outcomes that align with organisational objectives. The position would suit a recent graduate, or someone with skills and interest in desktop research, analysis, governance, or data visualization, relevant to supporting significant change projects.

About the Team
The TAFE Strategy, Systems and Tertiary Governance Branch leads system-wide initiatives across the Victorian TAFE Network, driving innovation, improving quality and efficiency, and supporting strategic engagement with TAFEs, government, and industry. The branch also oversees key education plans and strategies, First Nations initiatives, and governance functions for the tertiary sector.
About You
You are detail-oriented, flexible, and solutions-focused, with strong organisational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. You thrive in dynamic environments, can manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. You have experience in project delivery, a relevant tertiary qualification in project management, system improvements, or a related field, and an understanding of complex economic, education, or social policy issues.
