About the Role
2x Fixed Term Full Time positions available until 30 June 2027.
Operating in a fast-paced, customer-focused workforce initiatives team, the HR Project Officer/Business Partner will work closely with Senior Project Officers and Project Managers to deliver workforce initiatives and workforce support services to build teacher supply to Victorian government schools.
This role provides you with the opportunity to support the implementation of strategic workforce initiatives and provide high quality customer service and client support to schools and teachers through strong business partnering skills. Engaging with schools and teachers daily, this role provides the opportunity to use your creativity and passion for service to support schools to access a range of initiatives focused on growing the pipeline of teachers into Victorian government schools.

About the Department
The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services.
The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
About the Division
The School Workforce Initiatives and Supports Branch is responsible for providing targeted school staffing support and implementing workforce initiatives to increase teacher supply across the State.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary qualifications are desired, as is experience working in program/project management/coordination or as a human resource business partner.
