About the role:
The Project Officer will undertake service design and planning activities to support the development of the Victorian public health system.
Reporting to the Manager, Service Planning, the Project Officer will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and across other organisational business units, translating service and clinical need into service planning and clinical design for the health care system.
The Planning team is responsible for service planning from identification of service need to the functionality of capital solutions. The planning progression includes campus planning, models of service delivery, strategic functional briefs, model of care and schedule of accommodation. The team also system needs whilst balancing operational realities. The products the team delivers help inform decision-making and enhance the effectiveness of public health service provision.
The successful applicant will have an understanding of the Victorian health system and the provision of health services; be interested in developing service planning and project management skills and have the capacity to work flexibility as a member of a broader team.
