About the role:
The Project Officer sits within the Governance, Strategy and Research Branch in the Planning and Development Team. The position has a dual focus on people and culture and communications activities. The Project Officer will coordinate core people processes including but not limited to staff onboarding/induction, running of reports, ensuring legislative and policy requirements are met and coordinating and contributing to the delivery of people and capability initiatives. The position will provide project support to gender equality initiatives and will support the running of staff surveys and development of SCV people and culture policies and procedures.
The position will also support the Manager, Planning and Development to develop and deliver best-practice communications such as writing corporate messages, developing communications strategies, developing clear and engaging content via different mediums and channels and coordinating and assisting in the development of key SCV programs and projects working with a range of stakeholders.
