Are you ready to lead impactful change within a dynamic healthcare environment?
We are seeking two motivated and organised Project Officers, Psychosocial Implementation to drive vital improvements following the recent Psychosocial Risk Assessment conducted with the Operating Theatre in 24/25.
About the Role:
As one of two fixed-term Project Officers, you will play a key role in delivering targeted recommendations that enhance the efficiency, wellbeing, and operational coordination within our Operating Theatre. Your work will directly support our surgical, anaesthetic, nursing and technician teams, ensuring a healthier and more sustainable working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive a structured Operating Theatre Efficiency Improvement Project, focusing on redesigning work systems including theatre case scheduling, list planning, escalation protocols, and cross-department coordination.
• Lead a detailed audit of surgical and anaesthetics rostering, overtime, and unplanned clinical work to ensure remuneration is aligned with EBA provisions.
• Assess and optimise administrative support for senior medical staff, helping integrate education, research, governance, and service development tasks within rostered hours.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience in project and change management.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with an ability to influence and support change management by acting as a key advocate and facilitator for change.
• Coordinate and facilitate agile and effective decision making.
• Flexibility and organisation to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
