About the role:
The Project Officer provides project support to the Office of the Deputy Secretary through strong organisational and workload management skills and an ability to confidently triage work as required.
The Project Officer manages the end-to-end briefing and correspondence process; quality assures correspondence and responds to enquiries from a range of internal stakeholders. The Project Officer will demonstrate discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential matters and also works to build a positive culture while demonstrating behaviours in line with the organisation's values. The position will provide project management support to priority projects across the Division as required.
Teamwork is a core part of the role. The Project Officer assists colleagues to navigate systems and processes and contributes to team planning and activities.
