About the role:
The Project Officer (VPS3), Priority Programs provides administrative, coordination and project support to contribute to the delivery of targeted mental health and wellbeing initiatives. The role assists with organising project activities, preparing documentation, managing information, and supporting stakeholder engagement. Working collaboratively within the team, the Project Officer contributes to effective program delivery, helps track progress and risks, and supports processes that advance government priorities and improve outcomes for people accessing mental health and wellbeing services.
The Priority Programs team delivers targeted mental health and wellbeing initiatives that respond to government priorities and system reform needs. The team works collaboratively across the unit to support project planning, coordination and implementation. Team members contribute through high-quality administrative support, information management, stakeholder coordination and timely delivery of project tasks. Together, the team strengthens program outcomes and helps build a more responsive and people centred mental health and wellbeing system.
