As a member of the state-wide BAS Learning, Development and Safety unit, this position is responsible for managing the training delivery, procurement, contracting and invoice processing for training programs, the position also performs an important role in supporting the development, delivery and review of emergency preparedness training products. The Project Officer Learning, Development and Safety assists with training projects and processes as well as support the delivery of a range of training activities for the broader Agriculture Victoria Group, within the DEECA.
To perform effectively in this role, it is essential to have demonstrated skills in project management, prioritisation and conceptual skills. The successful applicant will also have highly developed communication skills, well developed information technology skills and a strong sense of teamwork

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 9 December 2025. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
