About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Health Information Management Adviser (VAED, VEMD, ESIS), you will be a part of a data collection management and support team. The ability to understand data management concepts, problem solve issues independently, identify emerging issues, escalate as appropriate and interact with a variety of stakeholders is essential. This role will be responsible for data acquisition, maintaining data standards, the delivery of technical specifications, implementation of annual changes, interpretation and application of business rules and ensuring continuous data supply to the department to meet key reporting timelines.
A significant part of the role is interaction with a range of stakeholders including managers, technical personnel and health service staff.
The position operates in a challenging and dynamic environment, requiring capacity to exercise judgment, work independently and the ability to effectively plan and organise around competing priorities.
