Join Forest Fire Management Victoria and play a key role in delivering the Caring for Forest Country Project — a landscape-scale biodiversity initiative helping to protect South-eastern Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo habitat across South West Victoria.
As Project Officer, you will coordinate on-ground works to remove wild pines from Gunditjmara Country, supporting healthier forests, stronger landscapes and improved habitat outcomes for one of the region’s most important threatened species.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
This is a fixed term position available until 13 January 2027. The work location for this position is flexible within the Far South West District (Heywood, Casterton, Dartmoor), with hybrid work arrangements available.
