THE ROLE
The Community Housing Assurance Team is a new team established to develop and implement a risk-based monitoring framework for a range of agreements with community housing agencies relating to capital funding through the Social Housing Growth Fund, leasing of Homes Victoria's properties and participation in the Victorian Housing Register (VHR).
The team monitors and supports community housing allocations from the VHR, tracking allocations by community housing agency through reconcilitions, monitoring performance against priority allocation targets, managing the Facilitated Placement program, and providing expert advice and support to promote allocation best practices across the sector.
The team plays a critical role in ensuring community housing sector property data is accurate, including co-ordinating requests to gazette rooming houses and managing and monitoring community housing agency requests relating to s109 and s110 Interest on Title, Housing Act 1983).
