THE ROLE
The Project Officer is responsible for supporting business processes and best practice. The role involves a high degree of project management skill, maintaining excellent stakeholder relations and assisting the implementation of key initiatives to drive service improvement. You will rely upon a strong acumen in systems and business process fields to deliver upon a wide range of projects and assignments.
The successful applicant will enjoy working cross-functionally in high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams and engaging with stakeholders from across the branch and Homes Victoria more broadly, to deliver on critical program outcomes.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Contribute to the full system lifecycle (design, build, adapt and maintain) and ensure the needs of evolving business practice are met, and apply current business rules across the department which includes compliance with departmental technical standards.
- Provide authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and assist with preparation and presentation of detailed reports, ministerial briefs and cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters.
- Proactively build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders. Identifying and resolving issues impacting on the quality of data and undertaking analysis and reporting to satisfy business requirements.
