THE ROLE
The Project Officer role sits within the HR Operations, Campaign, Engagement and Strategy team and supports the strategic attraction and recruitment of the department front line workforce, specifically child protection.
Recruitment to child protection is managed through set intake dates, as such this role deals with high volume candidate numbers and works to tight timelines.
As part of a small team, the role is responsible for advertising, eligibility screening including psychometric and qualifications, provision of best practice candidate care and candidate application management.
In addition, the Project Officer supports a range of strategic projects and priorities to drive efficiencies across end-to-end attraction and volume recruitment to provide for an effective, inclusive, fair recruitment process. Key to the delivery of the work is to ensure that processes provide for a responsive people and culture service to manage aspects of the recruitment life cycle.
