THE ROLE
The role of the Project Officer is to project management and administration activities related to family violence reform and national policy. This will involve supporting the WOVG Reform and National Policy Team and the Reform and Impact Unit with coordination support, project planning, management and administration activities, research activities, preparation of papers and briefs, and maintaining effective relationships.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
- Assisting in research, analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
- Supporting the development and delivery of projects or sub-projects and their successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
- Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
- Effectively manage office processes and maintain corporate information systems for records management, financial information, client payments and ministerial correspondence as required.
- Support relevant committee and governance processes. Arrange meetings and conferences, including coordinating papers, organising venues, catering, agendas, taking minutes and follow-up actions and making travel and accommodation arrangements.
