The Project Advisor, Student Mental Health Branch will be responsible for providing policy advice and project management and will work across student mental health projects as well as provide support to the implementation of the Schools Mental Health Fund and Menu and Mental Health in Primary Schools program.
The successful candidate will work with stakeholders across the department and externally, produce a range of written products, support contract management, governance arrangements, and data analysis and reporting, and undertake other tasks as required to support the work of the Student Mental Health Branch within the Department of Education.

An understanding of government processes, program delivery and policy development is desirable. To be successful in this role, good written communication and high-level organisational skills are essential.
About the Student Mental Health Branch:
The Student Mental Health Branch leads the department's efforts to support student mental health and wellbeing, including positive mental health promotion and build mental health capability. The branch provides mental health policy advice, delivers programs, supports schools and works in collaboration with partners across the education system and community sector who contribute to and influence positive outcomes for students.
