About the Role
Located in the Property Branch within the Victorian School Building Authority, this role sits within the Property Branch's 4 person Land Regeneration Unit. The Land Regeneration Program is responsible for maintenance of closed, retained for future use and sites that are deemed surplus to education use. The team also provides administrative and leasing support to schools with teacher housing. The team regularly liaises with other Government agencies on sales transactions and reports, responding to community queries and assisting with complex property issues and facilitating interim community use of former school sites.
This role reports into the Manager, Land Regeneration and will receive support and supervision by a member of the team. The role is primarily responsible for supporting the team with a SharePoint file audit, including transferring and cleansing of files, metadata updates and ensuring overall data accuracy. The role will also work on the cleansing, input of disposals and auditing of data into the internal Asset Information Management System (AIMS) using IBM Maximo, mainly focusing on the cost management and leasing contracts modules.
The Property Branch is a strongly collaborative environment where staff work together across various projects. The team manages a high volume of projects and it is a fast paced highly responsive environment. Given the high profile nature of the projects, the role requires good stakeholder management and communication skills and that reporting and record keeping is delivered to the highest standard.

About the Victorian School Building Authority
The Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) is part of the Department of Education. Established in 2016, it oversees Victoria's largest school building program since the state introduced free public education in the 1870s.
The VSBA upgrades and expands existing schools and plans, designs and builds new schools to meet enrolment demand. We also support schools to maintain their buildings and grounds by offering expert advice and coordinating maintenance programs and grants.
With Victoria recently introducing two years of funded kindergarten, the VSBA is also working with the early childhood sector on a massive kindergarten construction program.
About the Division
