Project Officer

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to improving the outcomes of First Nations students and communities and self-determination for First Nations through progressing the aims of the Wurreker and Marrung strategies within the TAFE Network. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional cultural awareness, interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders across various levels to support the delivery of key projects. You will effectively influence outcomes by tailoring your communication style to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
The Project Officer will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects and initiatives related to Marrung and Wurreker within the TAFE Strategy Systems and Tertiary Governance Branch. Reporting to the Manager, Marrung, the Project Officer supports the team to ensure key project milestones are achieved on time, within scope, and on budget.

The position of Project Officer forms a part of the Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery within the Skills and TAFE (S&T)
Skills and TAFE (S&T) focuses on enabling Victorians to access the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to participate in today's workforce, prepare for future jobs, and achieve their educational aspirations.
The Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD) incorporating the TAFE Strategy, Systems and Tertiary Governance branch and the TAFE Performance, Finance and Infrastructurebranch, plays a system leadership and management role for the Victorian TAFE Network (VTN) across Victoria.
About You
You will have the ability to work collaboratively, connecting with stakeholders, including Aboriginal communities and partners, to meet user needs, make agreed timeframes and co-design solutions. Use your innovative skills to streamline work, seeking feedback and diverse perspectives, including cultural knowledge, to support continuous improvement for the Branch.
