THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity exists for a driven and motivated team player with strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills and experience. As a Project Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting all stages of the Entry Pathways program of work, which is designed to enable children and families to get the ‘right' support at the right time, by improving how people access the system.
To be successful in the role you will have highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, a passion for systems, process and program improvements and the ability to work flexible across multiple projects. Ideally you will have recent experience using project management system.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
- Assisting in research, analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
- Supporting the development and delivery of projects or sub-projects and their successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
- Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
- Where responsible for overseeing, monitoring or delivering projects, ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in providing advice to stakeholders and assisting in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on a range of matters.
