About the Division
As a Division of the Academy, the Business Services Division leads the provision of quality Academy corporate support services and functions (including procurement, project management and program governance, human resources and culture architecture, finance, facilities management and, risk, audit and reporting) which enable successful operation of the Academy. In addition, the Business Services Division is responsible for the oversight, delivery and reporting of the performance and compliance obligations required of a statutory authority.
The Procurement and Project Management Office team is responsible for enabling and maintaining consistent practices in program and project management across the Academy as well as the oversight and reporting of the Academy's key performance metrics.
About the Role
The purpose of the Project Officer position is to undertake project management and support activities that contribute to the successful development and delivery of a range of Academy projects/initiatives and performance and governance outputs in line with established Academy and Department of Education policies and processes.

You must have a strong ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships to effectively communicate and collaborate within a cross-disciplinary team to successfully reach agreed deliverables. You will have strong planning and organisational skills to be able to support, manage and lead projects/initiatives, to navigate program risks and make recommendations or decisions that support successful delivery, as well as be flexible in adapting to changes and competing priorities. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports and secretariat support.
