The Opportunity:
The Social Inclusion and Vocational College department is dedicated to supporting students who face barriers to mainstream education by providing inclusive, flexible, and supportive learning environments. The department focuses on re-engaging young people through a combination of tailored educational programs, vocational training, and holistic wellbeing support. With a strong emphasis on practical learning, employability skills, and personal development, the department empowers students to build confidence, achieve meaningful qualifications, and transition successfully into further education, training, or employment.
This department of education funded role offers a unique opportunity to lead the development and delivery of a government-funded pilot program designed to inspire Year 9 and 10 students through engaging, hands-on vocational learning.
As the Vocational Tasters and Experiences Program Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of this pilot initiative across secondary schools in several local council areas. Your focus will be on delivering meaningful vocational pathways while ensuring strong project oversight, compliance, and performance reporting to support future program expansion.
You will collaborate with internal teaching departments and work closely with secondary schools, councils, and community partners to deliver impactful, career-aligned experiences for students.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a strategic education initiative from the ground up and play a key role in shaping vocational learning for the next generation.
