About the role:
As the Project Manager, you will report to the Senior Project Manager and be responsible for the coordination, scoping, development, and the delivery of infrastructure upgrades. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective planning, delivery, and supervision of major capital projects or programs valued between $2 million and $50 million, often spanning multiple years and regions. You will lead the governance and implementation of these projects in line with Parks Victoria's Project, Programme and Portfolio Management (P3M) Framework and core policies covering procurement, risk, and compliance.
Working across the full project lifecycle, you will partner with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure that every project meets our standards for safety, quality, environmental protection, and cultural heritage. Your leadership will help drive efficiency, accountability, and excellence in capital works delivery.

The Infrastructure and Assets Directorate is Parks Victoria's centre of expertise in the construction, management and maintenance of more than 78,000 assets and other visitor infrastructure in parks, reserves and designated local ports and waterways, ensuring they are open, safe and clean for people to enjoy the outdoors. The directorate is responsible for organisational strategy, planning, investment cases, scheduling, and performance monitoring and reporting for park asset and infrastructure management programs and capital project delivery.
