The Project Manager Safety Operating Systems and Governance leads and manages key activities that support Agriculture Victoria’s group-level safety and wellbeing functions, including delivery of the Safety Operating Model Review and the associated governance and compliance review of safety policies and procedures. The role assesses how safety governance, systems and supporting processes operate across Agriculture Victoria, evaluates alignment with DEECA Safety and Wellbeing systems and expectations, and identifies practical, prioritised improvements to strengthen clarity, accountability, effectiveness and decision-making. It also recommends where functions can transition to DEECA Safety and Wellbeing systems, determines where new best-practice approaches are required, and supports executive leadership and the Safety Operating Model Project Control Group through regular reporting on safety trends, risks and future governance arrangements.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
