DEECA’s Project Management & Delivery team help shape the digital and data solutions that support Victoria's bushfire, emergency management and public land operations. In this role, you'll work on complex and meaningful initiatives that improve how data is collected, integrated, analysed and used to support critical operational and strategic decisions across the state.
The opportunity
As a Project Manager, you'll play a leading role in delivering innovative technology and data initiatives across Bushfire and Forest Services. You'll partner with stakeholders across DEECA and our partner agencies to deliver complex technology projects to solve business challenges and implement solutions that deliver real-world outcomes.
This is a role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of people, process, data and technology. This is a hands-on role with a key focus on software delivery across multiple projects work stream.
To be successful in the role, in a matrix environment you will lead a team of Software Developers, Business Analysts, Change Managers and other relevant technical roles through agile processes through the end-to-end design, development and implementation of a new fit for purpose planning and approvals system.
Key to your success is your extensive delivery management experience in agile software development projects and working collaboratively with stakeholder to define and deliver business value.
