ROLE SUMMARY:
The Project Manager – I&P, will deliver building renewal and improvement projects for VICSES Office and Unit facilities within Victoria. This role involves developing and executing project plans to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and scope-specific delivery. The Project Manager – I&P will manage all aspects of building construction activities, including handover to BAU, project budgets, maintain comprehensive documentation, and engage with stakeholders to align project objectives with operational needs. Key responsibilities include preparing regular progress reports, ensuring quality assurance and compliance with regulatory standards, identifying, and mitigating project risks, and coordinating internal and external resources to optimise performance. Additionally, the role requires fostering a collaborative work environment and implementing continuous improvement practices to enhance project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
The primary objective of this role is to manage delivery of facility projects within the assigned regional portfolio of Victoria, ensuring all stakeholders are kept fully informed through regular reporting and consultation. Regular travel to VICSES properties located in regional Victoria will be required as part of this role.

Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is a volunteer-based emergency service. Our highly skilled and equipped Volunteers are trained comprehensively in a wide range of emergency environments. To minimise the impact of emergencies when they occur and strengthen the community's capacity to recover swiftly and safely, VICSES focuses on working with communities and partners in building resilience to achieve more aware, informed and prepared communities. We support them to understand their risk and the relevance of taking action before, during and after emergency events.
As the largest road rescue network in Australia we have specialist teams that provide a 24/7 response to road accident and trauma incidents. We assist Victoria Police in search and rescue operations, and play an important role in supporting the Country Fire Authority (CFA), Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV), Parks Victoria and the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) during major bushfire and emergency incidents.
