THE ROLE
The Project Manager, working together with the Senior Project Manager, is responsible for the management and delivery of housing upgrade and maintenance projects including procurement and management of multi-disciplinary consultancies involved in design and documentation, and contractors undertaking upgrade and maintenance works in low-rise properties throughout Victoria. The role involves scheduling, procuring and managing consultancy, works, supply and other contracts of various scales to deliver programmed and demand-driven upgrades and maintenance. Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including Divisional officers, consultants, contractors, renters, external agencies, local government, and departmental staff. A high standard of project co-ordination is required to ensure timely delivery of projects, including robust procurement processes, timely and accurate communication, and contribution to budget and cash flow management and reporting.
The role will require an experienced candidate with proficiency in all facets of construction project management including coordinating procurement processes and contract management, providing authoritative advice, and building strong stakeholder relationships to deliver key project outcomes.
