THE ROLE
Reporting to the Business Portfolio Manager, Business Portfolio and Delivery Management, the ITS Project Manager is a key role within the Information Technology Services (ITS) Branch. The Business Portfolio and Delivery Management Team works to facilitate the delivery of IT services that enable stakeholders to deliver on their commitments to Victorians.
The ITS Project Manager will manage and deliver complex ITS projects within the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH). This role focuses on delivering high-impact digital and technology solutions that enable the department's strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with Victorian Government ICT standards, security policies, and organisational values. The successful candidate will oversee projects within a sensitive, high-stakes environment where privacy, accessibility, and stakeholder engagement are critical.
The position will support transformational ITS initiatives in areas such as Communities and Families, Emergency Management, Corporate and Shared Services, Housing Victoria, and digital collaboration tools impacting vulnerable Victorians and staff.
To be successful in this role, you will bring extensive project management experience across both waterfall and agile methodologies as well as strong stakeholder management, strategic planning, and organisational awareness. You will be comfortable working with complex, high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
