About the role
*This is a 3 year Fixed Term role*
The Project Governance and Stakeholder Manager will lead project management, governance, and stakeholder engagement for a major public transport recontracting project. Working closely with the Director, the role will manage schedules, risks, governance forums, briefs, government approvals, communications, and key stakeholder relationships to support successful project and branch outcomes. The ideal candidate has experience delivering complex, high-value projects in fast-paced environments, with strong initiative and the ability to work independently.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will bring strong project delivery and management expertise, with the ability to translate strategy into actionable programs, lead complex schedules, and apply sound governance and risk management practices. Success relies on advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to influence and persuade diverse stakeholders while managing competing priorities and driving collaborative, adaptable ways of working. We’re looking for someone who can navigate complex stakeholder needs, build support for key initiatives, and deliver high-value outcomes in a dynamic environment.
