Project Coordinator
- Salary: $97,955 - $111,142 (Plus Superannuation)
- Fixed-Term to 30 June 2027

The Role
As a Project Coordinator, you will support the ongoing development and management of Victoria's strategic sport infrastructure network.
As a member of the Professional Sport and Tourism Infrastructure Unit, the successful applicant will work within a dynamic team, liaising with a wide range of sporting and public sector stakeholders to support strategic planning, business planning, project management, and the provision of high-level advice on sporting facility matters.
Working closely with the Group Manager and respective Project Managers within the Sport & Entertainment Precincts team, the Project Coordinator will undertake a wide variety of tasks relating to the development and operations of Victoria's State Facilities network. This will include managing funding agreements, developing briefings and correspondence and other administrative tasks as required.
The position will be required to liaise with a diverse range of industry and public sector stakeholders to gather information and provide advice to Victorian Government Ministers and the department's senior decision makers on complex matters.
Key accountabilities include:
- Work with and support the Group Manager and Project Managers on complex matters relating to the planning, development and management of Victoria's strategic sport infrastructure and ensure the Victorian Government's policy outcomes are achieved during business case development, design and planning, project and program delivery, and venue operations.
- Prepare high quality reports, submissions, briefings and correspondence for Ministers and senior decision makers within the department and keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Manage the Victorian Government's investment into strategic sport infrastructure projects and programs through development and administration of funding agreements.
- Build strong and productive relationships with a range of stakeholders across Victoria's public sector and sport and recreation industry.
- Represent the Professional Sport and Tourism Infrastructure unit on working groups and tender evaluation panels relating to the development and management of strategic sport infrastructure.

The position of the Project Coordinator will work within Sport and Recreation Victoria branch, which sits within Sport and Experience Economy group.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
