The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.
About the role
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and execution of government reform strategies within the Consumer Affairs portfolio.
These high-profile reform projects span several key areas, including housing, cost of living and local government initiatives. The role will require strong project coordination skills, records management, the ability to research a range of policy options and synthesise advice for colleagues and the ability to collaborate with others effectively across the branch.
You will be delivery focussed, with a growth mindset and an ability to anticipate what might be needed. You will be highly organised, able to keep track of a wide range of requests and information sources. You will enjoy working in a dynamic and flexible environment within a supportive team.
