The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Project and Performance Lead to provide a critical role within Justice Health.
About the Business Unit
Justice Health is part of the Corrections and Justice Services (CJS) group in the Department of Justice and Community Safety and supports the Minister for Corrections. CJS also comprises Corrections Victoria; Policy, Strategy and Service Design; Group Services and Coordination; and Justice Services (which includes Community Correctional Services and other justice programs). CJS plays an integral role in developing safer and more resilient communities and in delivering a trusted justice and community safety system.

The Adult Health Services Unit achieves this through working collaboratively with men and women in custody, health service providers, Corrections Victoria staff and public health providers.
About the Role
The role of the Projects and Performance Lead is to review, investigate and audit health service delivery, including through location-based audits, and to support and inform health service design and system improvements and maintain sound systems, policies and procedures that support audits and reviews. The Projects and Performance Lead will work collaboratively with Senior and Principle Clinical Oversight Officers and with key service partners to identify and respond to issues and risks that affect health care outcomes and provide high level strategic advice, reports, briefings, presentations and correspondence on complex and sensitive matters.
