About the Role
An exciting full-time, fixed-term opportunity (until 30 August 2027) is available within the Curriculum and Teaching Practice Division for a VPS4 Project Advisor.
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised professional to provide administrative, project and contract management support for key assessment initiatives, including the Year 1 Numeracy Check and Progressive Achievement Tests in Mathematics and Reading.
The successful candidate will support the effective operation of the Digital Assessment Tools Unit and contribute to the delivery of assessment programs that support student learning and achievement across Victorian schools.

The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
About the Division
The Curriculum and Teaching Practice Division (CTPD) is responsible for developing and supporting schools to implement the department's teaching and learning policies and providing curriculum implementation guidance to Victorian government schools.
CTPD draws on contemporary research and practice evidence to develop evidence-based teaching and learning policy reforms, co-design and implement initiatives to support schools to deliver high-quality teaching programs. CTPD has primary responsibility for providing advice and implementation support to government schools to deliver the Victorian Curriculum.
