Role Purpose
An opportunity exists to join the Inclusive Education Division as a Program Advisor supporting the Inclusive Education Scholarships Initiative, a key Disability Inclusion reform initiative that strengthens inclusive education capability across Victorian government schools.
The Inclusive Education Scholarships Initiative delivers postgraduate training opportunities for educators while managing funding, compliance and stakeholder processes across schools, universities and departmental systems.
This role provides operational coordination across multiple program streams, including scholarship delivery, funding administration, reporting cycles, compliance activities and stakeholder engagement. The position requires strong capability in managing competing priorities, working across multiple systems, and ensuring accuracy, timeliness and consistency in program delivery.
About the Role
This is a Fixed Term, Full Time role until 4 October 2027.
As Program Advisor, you will coordinate operational delivery across the full lifecycle of the Initiative, including annual scholarship application rounds, cohort management and ongoing engagement with recipients, graduates, universities and prospective applicants.
You will manage end-to-end workflows across application rounds, CRT reimbursement and acquittals, funding administration, debt recovery processes, reporting activities and stakeholder engagement across schools, universities and internal teams.
Working within a small, collaborative team, you will use multiple departmental systems and datasets to maintain data integrity, support compliance requirements and contribute to continuous improvement of program processes and workflows.

You will bring demonstrated experience working in operational, administrative or program environments involving multiple stakeholders, systems and competing priorities.
You will have:
Experience in government, education or large-scale program delivery environments is highly regarded.
An understanding of Disability Inclusion reform and a commitment to supporting inclusive education practice is desirable.
