About the Role
This is a fixed term full time role until 30 June 2027.
An exciting Project Advisor opportunity exists in the Specialist School Provision and Enrolment Management Team for a motivated individual with strong project delivery, stakeholder engagement and data analysis skills.
Our fast-paced, supportive team delivers policies and programs to strengthen the department's approach to planning for specialist provision and managing enrolments across the government specialist school network. This is a complex and important component of the department's work to manage growing population pressures in line with the inclusive education agenda.
The Project Advisor supports key projects in specialist school enrolment reform and provision planning to inform investment recommendations as part of the annual state budget process. The role provides robust data management and analysis to inform a number of projects across enrolment and provision priorities, ensuring that the department plans effectively to support families of students with disability in growing communities, and across the state.

Qualifications and experience in a relevant field, including public policy or data analysis, would be desirable. Knowledge of education provision for students with disability is desirable but not essential.

About the School Provision and Establishment Division
The School Provision and Establishment Division leads strategic oversight of programs and services that have a strong interface between the Schools and Regional Se rvices Group and the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA). The division's key functions include planning to meet Victoria's growing student population, end-to-end support for establishing new schools, and developing equitable enrolment policies.
