About the Division
The Kindergarten Expansion and Pre-Prep Reform (KEPPR) division works collaboratively across the department and with the sector to deliver the Best Start, Best Life reforms.
The Service Delivery and Engagement Division within KEPPR oversees and supports place-based implementation of Three-Year-Old Kindergarten and Pre-Prep by monitoring supply and demand and providing data, tools and change management support to local area teams. The Division leads stakeholder consultation and engagement on the Best Start, Best Life reforms and is responsible for the Early Years Networks, Area Leadership Forums and family engagement initiatives including Kinder Kits.
The Division is also responsible for whole-of-group functions including monitoring the progress of early childhood education (ECE) actions that support climate change adaptation and emissions reduction, coordinating and supporting Ministerial engagement with key ECE stakeholders and the planning and delivery of the Early Childhood Education State Forum.
About the Role
The Change Management Unit is responsible for leading on and developing Communication Resources and Activities which support the BSBL reforms, such as the Change Management Toolkit, 'Your Guide To' Information Sheets, and Start of Year Enrolment Communication Packs. The Unit also oversees the Change Management Supplement Payments, facilitates the Change Management and Service Delivery Reference Group, and works closely with peak bodies and the Communications Division to progress key change management deliverables and activities to promote and support the BSBL reforms
This role is a fixed-term role until 30 June 2026.
The role will provide critical project management and coordination support for key change management projects. This work includes:
