About the Victorian School Building Authority
The Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) is part of the Department of Education. The VSBA upgrades and expands existing schools and plans, designs and builds new schools to meet enrolment demand. We also support schools to maintain their buildings and grounds by offering expert advice and coordinating maintenance programs and grants.
About the Division
The Asset Management Division helps schools maintain and manage their buildings and grounds and ensures they are more energy efficient. The Division trains school leaders as facilities managers and supports them to develop school maintenance plans. They coordinate programs, assessments, and systems to ensure schools are routinely maintained and cleaned.
About the Role
The Program Advisor/Officer role within the Asset Information Management System (AIMS) Program provides operational support for a range of program and project functions including coordinating project activities, managing schedules, tracking deliverables, ensuring compliance with program objectives, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and supporting the integration of systems and processes. This role also assists in the preparation of reports, documentation, and other materials required for program governance and decision-making.

Attributes
The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of independently keeping track of routine tasks. A strong understanding of project management principles will be essential.
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate problem-solving abilities, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges. Additionally, experience in managing program or project budgets and timelines will be an asset.
