THE ROLE
The Project Adviser will deliver on projects focusing on recruitment and retention for the Child Protection program. This hands on role will provide advice on relevant policy and processes and lead a range of tasks including the implementation of priority projects for People and Culture (P&C) and will be responsible for project coordination, reporting, management of data, stakeholder engagement, invoicing and data analysis.
The role will provide support to the Team Leader through operational project management support to established and commenced projects and provide HR advisory services in relation to priority strategies while being adaptable to the changing functions and needs of the program.
Furthermore, the role will provide coordination of candidate care and onboarding for international recruits, processing of visa nominations and supporting international candidates though the relocation process.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
Provide operational support to P&C priority projects at a commenced stage of the project lifecycle through maintaining processes and record keeping.
Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives.
Demonstrate initiative and be proactive to address risk to projects and strategy.
Support international recruits through the onboarding and relocation processes.
Assist in the development of relevant process and policy documents required for the successful implementation of priority P&C projects.
Process visa nominations and manage record keeping required to adhere to Department of Home Affairs requirements.
