As a member of the Statewide Strategic Planning team, you will assist colleagues from state- and regionally- based teams in the development of strategic plans. You will assist in providing workshops for those who are developing strategic planning content and will assist in the compilation and delivery of the final strategic planning outputs.
This role provides a great opportunity for collaboration across multiple divisions and regions. Working on complex problems to translate policy into action, this role will contribute to direction of forest and fire management planning for the long-term benefit of Victorian forests and those who use them.
The successful candidate will be comfortable engaging and influencing people across a broad range of roles and expertise. With strong, ecological knowledge being an advantage, the role also requires attention to detail and the ability to analyse and communicate complex ideas to a wide audience.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to travel to multiple regions and within State forests in the course of their work, helping maintain the connection between their work and tangible outcomes.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
