The Program Manager – Emergency Management sector training and capability will lead the delivery of a multi-agency training pathway under arrangements agreed for the Emergency Management Sector Training and Capability Development Model.
The Program Manager will lead project delivery, demonstrating strong stakeholder engagement skills to work collaboratively with key emergency management sector partners. The Program Manager will be responsible for imbedding continuous improvement and sustainability frameworks and collaborating with the sector to design and deliver program curriculum.
The Program Manager will be responsible for the delivery of up to four training intakes, with senior participants from across the emergency sector, including onboarding, and coaching of senior participants to ensure successful completion of a program consisting of both online and in-person training. The role will be required to report to relevant sector governance bodies and will be responsible for facilitation of a sector Learning and Development Working Group, and performance monitoring and reporting as required.
This position is a non-emergency management deployable role to ensure continuity of project delivery.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of two years until 30 June 2028. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne (flexible) with hybrid work arrangements available.
