The Program Manager Biodiversity Assessment Officer (Energy and Major Projects) provides specialist biodiversity and land use planning advice to support statutory decision-making and the delivery of renewable energy and other major projects. The role leads a team which identifies, assesses, and mitigates biodiversity risks in line with legislation and policy, works with Responsible Authorities including local council's and stakeholders to build capability and ensure biodiversity is integrated into planning and project outcomes. The Program Manager will combine a significant body of technical knowledge in environmental impact assessment with a strong people focus, contribute to sound decision making processes, and facilitate the delivery of Victoria's renewable energy and major project goals.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is Flexible within Loddon Mallee or Port Phillip Regions hybrid work arrangements available.
