The Program Manager Biodiversity Assessment (East) leads the delivery of high‑quality biodiversity and environmental assessment advice to support statutory decision-making and delivery of government, departmental and community priorities across the East of the state. The role will lead and support an inclusive and high performing team, that is customer focussed, collaborative, professional and engaged.
This role manages a specialist team responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating biodiversity risks in line with legislation, policy and government priorities. Working closely with Responsible Authorities, proponents and internal stakeholders, you will ensure biodiversity considerations are integrated into statutory decision‑making and project outcomes while facilitating the delivery of priority projects for Victoria.
This is a leadership role suited to someone who combines strong technical expertise in biodiversity and environmental impact assessment with excellent people leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Hume and Gippsland with hybrid work arrangements available.
