About the role:
The Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing is seeking an experienced Program Development & Engagement Lead to support the organisation to develop strategic and impactful programs of work in partnership with mental health sector partners, including government, peak and professional bodies, services, workforce, academic institutions, education providers, and consumers and families, carers and kin. The successful applicant will use their knowledge and skills in co-design, collaboration and strategic planning to develop, implement and monitor plans and sector engagement initiatives across the Workforce Education and Developmentand Translational Research teams at the Collaborative Centre.
Reporting to the Governance and Planning Services Manager, the Program Development & Engagement Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the work of the Centre is informed by impactful research, lived and living experience and innovative practice, using contemporary approaches to collaboration and engagement with our sector partners. They will also translate these insights into tangible and actionable policy recommendations for Government.

The Collaborative Centre plays a central role in system transformation and over the next three years, we will prioritise translational research and systemwide workforce training and capability development, particularly for the Lived and Living Experience workforce.
Through our existing partnerships with clinical, academic and lived experience organisations we will produce and amplify research informed by Lived and Living Experience and translate the outcomes of that research into new and innovative models of care for better mental health and wellbeing outcomes for all Victorians.
